Debra Gwartney

 

Debra Gwartney is the author of Live Through This, a memoir that was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award and the Oregon Book Award, and co-editor of Home Ground: Language for an American Landscape. She has published in many journals and magazines, most recently Tin House and Brevity, and teaches in the Pacific University MFA in Writing Program. Debra lives with her husband, Barry Lopez, in Western Oregon.
