If you could spend a day with an author, who would it be?

Tom Stoppard.

What book made the biggest impression on you as a kid?

Matilda by Roald Dahl. It was the first time I read a book with a character around my age that mirrored pieces of my own experience. I fell in love with her, and deeper in love with reading. She taught me that taking risks realizes intelligence:”Never do anything by halves if you want to get away with it. Be outrageous. Go the whole hog. Make sure everything you do is so completely crazy it’s unbelievable…”. Throughout the years, I have interpreted this many different ways…writing, art, business. It’s been fun.
